There is only one venue for the May Bank Weekend: Belfast’s last outdoor event venue, the Dox Square Cargo.
Located in the cult neighborhood of Titanic, Dox Square event promoters host a full day of live events this weekend, Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May, as summer begins in style.
The weather is fine and attendees are looking forward to an unforgettable weekend with live music, DJ sets and excellent food and drink to catch the biggest licensed outdoor venue in Northern Ireland.

On Saturday, the Queen of Saxony, beloved Laura, will be on stage in the afternoon with her husband DJ Ben Santiago to play live saxophone and house music. A regular on stage at the Festival and Club of Ibiza, Laura wowed audiences last summer with her legendary saxophone set, and this year she’s back at Dukes Arena in the Titanic neighborhood.
When the doors open at 2pm, Saturday’s set shows Pete Snowden from Cool FM and other top DJs entertaining guests under the famous Belfast cranes for a late-night party!
On Sunday May 1st, the title will be Grammy Award-winning DJ Roger Sanchez at Lush! Legends owned by the leading Irish brand, Lush!
Ibiza icon Roger Sanchez has been to the island’s clubs every summer since 2000, having gained popularity with his hit song “Another Chance”. Winner of the Grammy Award No Doubt for a remix of “Hella Good,” Sanchez recently collaborated with Ella Henderson on “Dream on Me.”
Sanchez will be supported by DJ Col Hamilton and Midknight Thieves from Lush! With local DJs Alfie Gold, Neal McClelland and Belfast duo, Ubblahkan.

Commenting on the events, James Joyce of Dukes Square said:
“We are thrilled to launch Belfast’s trendiest outdoor venue, Dukes Square in the Titanic District, as part of this wonderful banking holiday. Lovely Laura played a big crowd in the sun at Cargo last year and we’re thrilled to welcome her back.
“Abundance! Sunday Legends is sure to sell out really fast.” Famous Roger Sanchez took to the stage, where local DJs played all the tunes we know and love so guests could dance the day away.
“When we occupy the largest licensed outdoor location in Northern Ireland, we plan to bring world-class artists to the city for all-day events throughout the summer. We have big names like Martin Kemp and Boylife already supported by popular local artists and more will be announced. In the coming weeks. Tickets are obviously in high demand, so I recommend getting them quickly. Let’s create an unforgettable summer tune for Belfast’s biggest banking weekend.”
Dox Square Bank Weekend tickets are now available at doxsquare.co.uk. Tickets cost 25 per day or 40 for the entire weekend. Dox Square is located next to We Are Vertigo at Titanic Quarter, Queens Road, Belfast.
