The Northern Ireland Awards for Excellence in Beauty are back in business –

The Northern Ireland Beauty Excellence Awards return in 2022.

They are respected by salons, hair stylists, clinics, spas, products and industry experts who maintain the beauty business.

Ranked by the country’s top five experts in their fields, the awards are the most competitive and prestigious wins.

Paul Stafford, award-winning hairstylist and owner of Belfast Stafford Hair Empire, continues to lead the jury, along with leading Tyrone entrepreneur and Belamanta owner and CEO Tan Linda Stenson.

Makeup and skincare expert Katrina Doran and Dr. Mervyn Patterson, medical director of Woodford Medical and one of Europe’s leading specialists in aesthetic medicine, return to the session.

Joining this year’s panel will be Canadian beauty and lifestyle influencer and owner of recently launched cosmetics brand Pearl Beauty – Elana Pecherl, also known as Elle Pearls.

West Coast Cooler has been announced as the main sponsor of the event with media partners Daily Mirror NI and Belfast Live.

The first beauty pageant took place in 2019, before the entire industry fell into disarray and salons were forced to close their doors for a year.

Sarah Weir, director of Weir Events, who created the award, says the industry’s resilience should not be overlooked and that everyone involved is delighted that everyone recognizes and celebrates that the industry is on the move even on its darkest days.
