Belfast International Airport has shared tips for travelers planning to travel during the busy Easter season.
The airport is preparing for a busy holiday season in the coming weeks, with many people planning to fly for the first time in two years.
To meet the expected strong demand, the airport is working on an ongoing campaign to take on more than 200 jobs at all levels to ensure that customers benefit from passing through the terminal.
This includes the reopening of many food and retail outlets.
This happens after many airports have problems with staffing, which leads to long queues.
Dublin Airport reported that people waited several hours for security checks with some delay, causing passengers to miss their flight.
Two return flights from Belfast International Airport to Paris and Manchester were canceled on Wednesday morning, 6 April.
Graham Cady, general manager of Belfast International Airport, said: “B. Elfast International Airport expects more passengers in the coming weeks as everyone loves to travel.
“As we manage to get back to normal, we ask for patience and understanding. We are confident that if travelers plan their trip carefully and follow our five tips, they will be able to relax and enjoy a well-deserved vacation.”
