The representative of the Spanish Government in the Basque Autonomous Community has thus referred to the statements made by Andoni Ortuzar in the context of the Alderdi Eguna.

The deputy of the Spanish government in the Basque Autonomous Community, Denis Itxaso, has confirmed that if the PNV does not distinguish between the president of the central government, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, it means that ‘Basque Country does not weigh so heavily under his concerns’.
In a post on social networks, Itxaso referred to the statements made this Sunday in the Alderdi Eguna by the chairman of the EBB of the PNV, Andoni Ortuzarwho has distanced the Jeltzale formation from the two “blocs” into which “Spanish politics” is divided.
If the PNV does not distinguish between @sanchezcastejon Y @NunezFeijooand failing to consider the obvious differences that separate them regarding the importance of the Basques in terms of rights, protection and progress, it is that Euskadi does not weigh so heavily under their concerns.https://t.co/OGH7C7uq3N

“Let it be clear that the PNV has only one side: it is above the river Ebro and it is called Euskadi. Neither Sánchez nor Feijóo,” assured the nationalist leader.
In Itxaso’s opinion, if the PNV “does not distinguish” between Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Núñez Feijóo and “does not take into account the obvious differences that separate them in relation to the importance of the Basques in terms of rights, protection and progressis that Euskadi does not weigh so heavily under their concerns”.
