Six of the seven referendums whose registration week ended on Monday must be discussed in the House of Representatives. The most successful was the “For Unlimited Cash Payments” initiative, which gathered 530,938 supporters, clearly crossing the 100,000 signature threshold.
At this point, the “Black Voices” referendum with 99,381 supporters narrowly failed.
From Covid to GIS reimbursement
On the other hand, according to the preliminary results announced Monday evening by the Ministry of the Interior, the referendums are “Abolition of GIS Fee” (364,348 supporters), “Abolition of COVID measures” (218,801 supporters), “Repair for COVID- 19 measures” (184,936), the “Children’s Rights Referendum” (172,015) and the “Right to Housing” initiative (134,664 supporters).
Last May, six of the seven referendums passed the 100,000 hurdle. In June, two more were successful.
