The Minister of Public Administration and Self-Government of the Basque Government assures that the negotiations on the transfer of railways are “the only ones” open with the Spanish government, and denounces that the Ministry “continues to doubt the legal feasibility” of some transfers already announced.

The Minister of Public Administration and Self-Government of the Basque Government, Olatz Garamendichas pointed out that the Basque Country has proposed to the Spanish Government to take responsibility for several sections of track, in addition to the announced Renfe Cercanías lines, which they don’t just walk on Basque soilas it would be Bilbao Balmaseda (Feve)who reaches La Robla (León), or who in Irun-Vitoria-Gasteiz, which runs through the Sakana. However, he stressed that, despite the negotiations being very advanced, “there is still a lot of work to be done”.
