In the Pyrenees-Atlantiques department, which includes Ipar Euskal Herria and Biarno, Macron has placed himself in first place by beating Le Pen by nearly 10 points.
France held on Sunday 10 April, the first round of the presidential elections in which Emmanuel Macron (La República en Marcha) and Marine Le Pen (National Group) reached the second round with 28% and 23% of the vote respectively .
Also in the department Atlantic Pyreneesincluding Ipar Euskal Herria and Biarno, Macron also won with 27.6% of the vote and second place also went to Le Pen (17.98%), although with less support than in the rest of the state and almost on par with the ruralista Jean Lassalle (We resisted ) who finished in third place (17.03) and with Jean-Luc Melenchon (Francia Insumisa) who took fourth place (17.02%).
