The parliamentary group of EH Bildu in Congress and the Government of Spain have reached an agreement according to which “the powers of the haciendas will be shielded
Araba, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Nafarroa” and these institutions will be the ones who will manage the taxes on banks and electricity companies. Likewise, as the Abertzale coalition has announced, “the government has committed in writing to EH Bildu to report to consider converting said liens into structural and permanent“.

This is the first agreement under the Budget negotiations 2023 which will be extended in the coming days “with the aim of expanding rights and freedoms and bringing about social improvements for Basque citizens and the working classes of the state,” EH Bildu added.
