Constitutional veto: The Supreme Court returned last night to uphold its decision to suspend parliamentary consideration of the two amendments to renew the Constitutional Court (TC) itself. The TC thus resolved the Senate appeal, which is being debated and voted today on the rest of the amendments (repealing sedition and reducing penalties for embezzlement) to reform the Penal Code.

– Christmas lottery: As every year, the Christmas Lottery Draw will be held on December 22, which will distribute 2.52 billion euros in prizes, including the Gordo, worth 400,000 for one-tenth. eitb.eus follows the event live with a bit of luck, and once the draw has taken place, the winning numbers can be consulted.

– Judgment in the Sansoheta case: The Provincial Court of Álava will announce the verdict in the Sansoheta case this Thursday. 10 men were tried and charged with sexual abuse of minors at the Sansoheta Center in Vitoria-Gasteiz, under the supervision of the Álava Provincial Council. Four of them admitted the facts and agreed to the charges, so it remains to be seen what punishment the other six will be sentenced to.
