Inflation does not spare politicians either. But they hardly have to worry. Austrian politicians receive 5.3 percent more money. The Viennese FPÖ boss Dominik Nepp wants to donate his salary plus and use the money to help needy families. “I appeal to Mayor Ludwig not only to withdraw the Viennese price increases, but also to donate his salary increase,” Nepp confirmed. Politicians are not entitled to the increase.
“For many Viennese, the year 2023 will not be a battle for life, but a battle for survival,” Dominik Nepp said in a conversation with Tanja Pfaffeneder. As a politician with a heart, as Nepp describes himself, he would like to donate the money. The Viennese can contact the politician. Other parties do not agree with this, but according to Nepp give “a lackluster answer”.
“Horror New Year’s Eve” in Austria and Germany
The blue city councilor is shocked by New Year’s Eve in Austria. Dominik Nepp speaks of “migrant gangs” that have been making Austrian cities unsafe for years. “The problem with migrants has always been kept small by politicians. This is a wrong migration policy,” said the FPÖ politician.
“Hackers must resign”
The health system in Austria is at its limit. The Vienna FPÖ boss Dominik Nepp and the Vienna FPÖ club president, Maximilian Krauss, submitted the FPÖ request for an investigator regarding the regularity and suitability of the Vienna health association due to serious problems in the management of the health and care sector. Dominik Nepp justified the request for an examiner mainly with the almost daily new scandal reports from Viennese hospitals. High work pressure and understaffing are reasons why the health system in Austria is not working properly. “Municipal Councilman Hacker must resign,” said Dominik Nepp.
