Hundreds of children in Vienna are currently taking advantage of the city’s new language learning opportunities to rid themselves of the stigma of being ‘exceptional students’. The need for the voluntary offer in many areas exceeds the offer.
They play memory, throw balls at each other or come up with small tasks that everyone in the group has to complete. After all, the best way to learn is to have fun. Because here at the Sonnwendviertel education campus, it’s all about learning, playfully or not: learning German with the newly established and expanded literacy courses, with which Deputy Mayor Christoph Wiederkehr (Neos), municipal councillor for Education, has increased the number of exceptional students.
