In the future, the Neos do not want to invest tax money in the parties, but in the youth. A plan has now been presented for this.
Think pink: as one of the few parties, the Neos really stand out with their ideas and content in the current election campaign. The latter affects the parties themselves, taxpayers and young people almost equally. As reported, party leader Indra Collini advocates a “future thousand” for young compatriots.
In concrete terms, the party financing of the tax money earned by Lower Austrians and 18.6 million euros is halved and the half that is released flows into the pockets of young people under the age of 30. The money is ‘only’ linked to one condition: a training qualification.
“The talents of our children are the greatest resource for the future of our country. Instead of investing more and more money in political parties, we should invest in the lives of young people and their educational qualifications. With this measure we create the opportunity in the state to support 9,300 young people per year – from pupils to students – with their education. In addition, this is an important signal in times of scarcity of skilled workers,” Collini describes her plan.
Potential recipe for success for the economy
Former NEOS company spokesperson, entrepreneur Sepp Schellhorn, takes the same line. “Companies in Lower Austria need relief when it comes to bureaucracy and additional labor costs. That gives the company breathing space and ensures that people have more to live for,” explains the star chef from Salzburg, explaining the pink recipe for success.
