An outside constitutional lawyer agreed with the mayor of Klagenfurt, Christian Scheider, on the extension of Jost’s service until 2025. Kook SP and FP.
The mayor of Klagenfurt, Christian Scheider, gave a press conference with the three longest-serving lawyers in the town hall (Herwig Noisternig, Herwig Valent, Karin Zarikian) and via stream with the constitutional lawyer Bernd Wieser because of the “emergency clause” fixed extension of Peter Jost’s (64 ) contract until 2025.
Extension is legally covered
Scheider: “Jost wanted to retire on 20 December. The 1800 employees would have been left without management. I had to respond.” Univ. Prof. DDR. Dr. hc Wieser: “The extension of the service is regulated by law. The emergency authority is not strictly limited, the mayor can draw it.”
SP, FP, Neos and Groenen reported Scheider to the municipality because of the emergency paragraph. Philipp Liesnig (SP): “The next facet, because the magistrate’s lawyers are bound by the instructions of Scheider and Jost. I hope that Jost and Team Kärnten will pay the expenses. Scheider has to present the case to the city council. There was even a city senate on Dec. 20, we didn’t hear a word from Jost. Scheider is fooling the public.” The FP is also angry: “The theater must stop.”
