After Finance Minister Magnus Brunner (ÖVP) suffered a head injury at night in an e-scooter accident a few days ago, he was released from hospital on Sunday.
In the coming days he will work at home with his family in Bregenz. From January 30, he wants to attend regular and scheduled appointments in person again. Until then, he will remain represented by Secretary of State Florian Tursky (ÖVP) for appointments that cannot be postponed.
“On Medical Advice in the Home Office”
On his discharge from the hospital, Brunner thanked on the one hand for the “many well wishes” – and on the other hand “the doctors and the entire team of the AKH for the very professional and caring care over the past few days”.
He was “under clinical observation”, now he will “work in the home office for a few more days on medical advice”, the minister said.
