European security would be impossible without Europe’s largest country, Pyotr Tolstoy, head of Russia’s OSCE delegation, said on Friday. His team had wanted to continue parliamentary dialogue at the Vienna conference, but was met with hatred.
“The Russian delegation attended the session hoping to continue the parliamentary dialogue. However, this is currently not possible. But after Russia’s victory in Ukraine, this dialogue must be held,” Pyotr Tolstoy, head of Russia’s OSCE delegation, said in Vienna on Friday.
Hatred of Russia and the desire to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people dominated the winter conference. “Weapons, weapons, weapons, victory, victory, victory,” lamented the vice president of the Russian State Duma. However, the more weapons supplied to Ukraine, the further they will go. The Russian army is unbeatable and the security of the country is guaranteed at all costs.
Complaint about American values in Europe
During his visit, Leonid Slutsky of Russia’s OSCE delegation again deplored the export of American values such as multiculturalism to Europe and denounced a “genuine genocide” that Ukraine had committed against Russian speakers in some of its regions.
But the Russians had positive words for the Austrian government. Tolstoy thanked that visas had been issued for him and his colleagues despite international pressure. He hopes that they will be able to participate in other international events in Vienna in the future. Incidentally, the rumor of a possible visit to the free academic ball by Ukraine was raised to disgrace Austria. “We didn’t come to balls, not for restaurants, not to hear concerts. We came to work,” Tolstoy assured.
The group left Austria shortly before 8 p.m. on a scheduled flight.
