Political science doesn’t just try to classify the overall outcome of an election. Instead, one analyzes for or against whom individual groups of voters and thus the population are. The ORF election survey data shows large differences for the Carinthian state elections. It’s always about the money.
1. The differences are known, that the SPÖ and ÖVP are voted above average by older retirees and much less by among the 30-year-olds and younger professionals. The latter, especially those in apprenticeships, are more for the FPÖ. The Blues is also still a party much more popular with men than women. With the Greens outside Carinthia it is exactly the other way around.
