The central political event they held this Saturday afternoon served to summarize the various issues and reflections that have been discussed and discussed these days, an event in which they also set the course for the years to come: “Socially unite those for whom we work transformation and sovereignty, to conspire and fight to achieve a model of life and more dignified living conditions today, to live tomorrow in the Euskal Herria we dream of”.
From the stage they have emphasized that “the cishetero-patriarchal capitalist system, which does not allow the development of a dignified life project, has reached its ceiling” and they have emphasized the need for a model change because “this has been demonstrated” by the crises of recent years, such as the health crisis, the energy crisis, the ecological emergency, inflation or war.
They have recalled that, “with the exhaustion of the neoliberal phase”, in the future young people will have to make “many decisions” and have emphasized that it is “the actions and decisions of today that will determine” that future “that is not written”. .
For example, they emphasized what has been achieved today in the Gazte Topagunea, “we have shown that through the strength of the youth force and by working together we can achieve anything: a feminist, Basque-speaking people who organize to work, who teaches and learns, who can also dance, who conspires”.
They have also targeted the far right that supports a “sexist, homophobic and racist” discourse: “In the face of your attacks, we will fill the streets with feminism, we will burst the cabinets and we will continue to open the doors of our city. Because we want to decide on our bodies, we want to decide on our people”.
With this act and the concerts that followed it came to an end a full program of activities that they were able to enjoy for three days and nights, without apologies for the weather: more than forty conferences and as many concerts as well as all kinds of workshops and shows in full colour, all spread over eight rooms.
