Today, May 18, is the last day to request a vote by mail for the municipal and regional elections on May 28. Therefore, all those people living in the territory of the Spanish State who cannot attend the election appointment and wish to vote, and who have not yet done so, have until today to apply for it.
To request a postal ballot, it is necessary to present official proof of identity and to fill in the official form provided at the post offices or on the website of the INE (National Institute of Statistics). People who asked to vote by mail will receive the necessary documentation to cast their vote before the 21st of May.
The deadline for depositing the vote by post is expiring May 24. In this way, the voters must place the chosen ballot and proof of registration in an envelope on the electoral roll and send it by registered mail to the polling station that corresponds to them.
