The jeltzale formation would equal the number of councilors achieved 4 years ago, but the abertzale coalition would gain almost four points in votes and get another mayor.

The PNV candidate for mayor of Donostia/San Sebastián, Eneko Goia, would comfortably win the 28 million municipal elections and win a third term if the current pacts were reissued, but Juan Karlos Izagirre (EH Bildu) would close the gap between the jeltzale halve formation and the abertzale coalition, according to the EITB Focus macro survey.
In that sense, the PNV would get 10 council members, the same as four years ago, but would lose almost three percentage points of the vote, from 35.8% in 2019 to 32.9%.
This, together with the growth of EH Bildu, which would have 7 councilors (one more compared to 2019) and a support of 25.2% (3.8 points more), would narrow the distance between the two parties to 7.7 points, when four years ago it was 14.4.
In third place comes the PSE-EE, which would repeat the result of the last election: 5 councilors and 17.7% of the vote.
The PP would also remain stable as it would retain its 3 representatives despite a half-point drop in votes to 10.4%, while Elkarrekin, with 2 councillors, would lose one.
