The PSE-EE and the PP are increasing their voters’ loyalty, but fail to attract new voters, while Elkarrekin Podemos is the party with the lowest loyalty percentages.
GA | AVERAGE EITB
EH Bildu is the party with the highest loyalty rates for the municipal and regional elections on May 28, both in the Basque Autonomous Community and Navarre, according to data from the detailed analysis of the EITB Focus macro poll on voting intentions. The PNV follows closely, albeit with a decrease in some areas.
The Abertzale coalition has a vote loyalty of more than 85% in the Basque Autonomous Community and 80% in Navarre. The PNV follows closely, although in some areas it is lower than the data collected by EITB Focus in March.
The PSE-EE increases the loyalty of its voters in the Basque capitals, but fails to attract new voters. The PP is also improving in some areas, while Elkarrekin Podemos is the party with the lowest loyalty percentages, although it is growing in some areas.
In Navarre, the UPN’s loyalty is growing ahead of parliamentary elections, but voter loyalty is falling in Pamplona, where it is losing support. The PP is behaving in the opposite direction, with less loyalty to parliament, but growing in Pamplona.
For their part, PSN, Contigo Navarra and Geroa Bai remain stable, although the latter loses 4 points in Navarra and wins 9 in Pamplona.
The PNV candidates, the most famous faces
All PNV candidates have grown in knowledge and appreciation of the EITB Focus from March through May, indicating that they have done a good job of positioning during the pre-election campaign.
In Gipuzkoa, the jeltzale Eider Mendoza also managed to grow in knowledge, while Maddalen Iriarte, from EH Bildu, barely rose by one point, although the latter has a higher knowledge percentage and is the most valued candidate of all candidate candidates.
In the capitals, the best-known and best-rated candidate is Juan Mari Aburto of the PNV, who has more than 6 points. In Vitoria-Gasteiz, all candidates managed to grow in prominence, with the exception of Garbiñe Ruiz from Elkarrekin Podemos, who stayed.
The PP’s candidacies are the ones that get the worst evaluation in all areas of Euskadi.
In Navarre, all the candidacies of the government bloc (including EH Bildu) have the best average evaluations of the whole electorate (almost 5 out of 10), and Asiron is rated the best, followed by Uxue Barkos and Koldo Martínez.
