EH Bildu has overtaken the PSE-EE and is positioned as the second force in the city council of the capital of Bizkaian. In fourth place is the PP and finally Elkarrekin.
With 94% of the votes counted, the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) has expired in the Bilbao municipal electionsalthough the distance with the second force in the town hall has been reduced.
The candidacy of Juan Mari Aburto has the 36% of the vote6 points less than in 2019, and adds 12 aldermen2 less than in the last election.
Basque Country Bilduwith almost the 19% of the votes (4 points more), added 2 and achieved 6 aldermen. In this way, the Sovereignist Coalition has passed to the Socialists as the second force in Bilbao City Council.
He Socialist Party of Euskadi-Euskadiko Ezkerra (PSE-EE), for its part, obtains the 16% of the vote and stays inside 5 aldermenthe same amount as in the previous legislature.
Fourth, there is the People’s Party (PP), which raises its support to 11% (2 points more), and adds another representative: 4 aldermen.
huddle together loses a Councilman in City Hall and moves from fourth to fifth. With the 8% of the votes (2 points less), the force with the least representation is: 2 aldermen (one less).
