Interview with Mikel Lezama, elected PP juntero for Gipuzkoa, in Euskadi Irratia

The PP’s elected juntero for Gipuzkoa, Mikel Lezama, has indicated that Eider Mendoza is a general deputy “it will not be free”.

After the municipal and regional elections on May 28, the political parties continue to take positions with a view to the formation of municipal councils and councils. In an interview for the “Faktoria” program of Euskadi Irratia, the elected juntero of the PP Through GuipuzkoaMikel Lezama, has indicated that the PP wants to “go into government” in exchange for turning Eider Mendoza into Deputy General of Gipuzkoa, so “it won’t be free”.

“They have the need and the stakes are high. What we are saying is that we are open to negotiations and we are happy, for example, to Sports portfolio. We would like Eider Mendoza to become a general deputy, but that it won’t be free“, he indicated.

The representative of the PP has emphasized that the citizens have given them the “key” to governance in Gipuzkoa, which is why he has urged the PNV and PSE-EE “to sit down and talk”. In addition, they need our votes. With all humility I know that we we are three and they (PNV and PSE-EE) are 24 together, but I am not disrespectful to them or those who voted for them,” he assured.
