The PNV rules Durango again, but loses control over Gernika and Bermeo, among others

After the municipal elections last May, the political parties had to negotiate in recent weeks to form governments in the Basque municipal councils. The PNV has also retained the majority of mayors of the most populous cities in the Basque Country, such as getxo or Basauri, in Biscay.
