Helga Krismer has been re-elected as spokesperson for the Green State in Lower Austria. At the state congress on Sunday in Ybbs an der Donau, the resident of Baden received 91.3 percent of the 182 delegate votes.
In her speech, Krismer did not spare criticism of the black-and-blue state government. ÖVP and FPÖ stand for “a policy of asphalting and concreting and thus a policy of fossil dinosaurs.” Green politics, on the other hand, should strive “to do everything to the best of our knowledge and belief and using the latest science and technology to make the world a better place for the people.”
Country manager Hikmet Arslan was also confirmed in office. Neunkirchner received 89.7 percent of the vote.
