The Jeltzale group will present all the members of its lists to the Basque and European elections at an event that same day.
Imanol Pradales, still deputy for Infrastructure and Territorial Development of Bizkaia, will be officially declared PNV candidate for lehendakari on the 27th in Durango, after receiving unanimous support from bases in the Second round of the internal election process of the Jeltzale formation. It will be the National Assembly that ratifies the candidacy, as well as that of Bakartxo Tejeria to repeat as President of the Basque Parliament.
The PNV’s highest sovereign body, meeting that day in Landako (Durango), will validate both candidacies, in addition to those of the rest of the candidates who will complete the lists for the elections. CAV elections, who have not yet been summoned by the Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu. That Saturday at noon, the Jeltzales will present the candidates during an event, in which they have appealed to their members to participate.
As reported in a statement from the PNV, Pradales and Tejeria passed the second round which concluded last Sunday the 14th. In the absence of receipt of the latest results, the National Commission for Guarantees and Control has so far confirmed unanimous support ” for the candidacies presented.
The internal process, which started last December 11, started with choosing the plates for the Basque and European elections this year now continues with the turn of the Territorial Assemblies. The one in Gipuzkoa will be held next Thursday, the one in Navarra the next day, while Bizkaia will host it on January 23 and Álava will close the round on the 24th.
