As reported by the City Council, numerous allegations have been accepted after the draw on June 22 for the composition of the tables, so their composition is not guaranteed. That’s why a new lottery was held today.
The composition of the polling stations for the general elections called for next July 23 took place today in Zumarraga (Gipuzkoa) after a second draw, following the allegations of numerous residents, some 30 or so, who had been given member status in the previous draw because the tables were left incomplete. In concrete terms, eight posts had become vacant.
The first draw took place on June 22. In recent weeks, for various reasons, many citizens have filed charges to get off the table. As reported by the city council, many of these allegations are well founded, so the composition of the tables was not guaranteed.
The second draw took place this morning and the results are now available on the Zumarraga Municipality website.
