Ludwig to the government – money for hospitals or lawsuit? “Are ready”

Date:

Austria nine times. This summer, our head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Ida Metzger, will be traveling across the country to interview all of the governors. In the second part, Viennese mayor Michael Ludwig puts the rod in the window of the federal government: if there is less money for the health system, he will file a constitutional complaint.

As is known, the relationship between Vienna’s mayor Michael Ludwig and the federal government is not the best. He is now also directing sharp words to the government about the negotiations on the financing of the health care system. He advises his new SPÖ boss Andreas Babler not to rule out too many coalition variants.

“crown”: Mr. Mayor, with a 32-hour week, would you theoretically be able to go into the weekend after this interview (it was on a Wednesday), or would it already be overtime?
Michael Ludwig: There is no time limit for a mayor.
