Sumar’s elected deputy and parliamentary spokesperson for the United Left thinks the presidency should match the PSOE, and sees Francina Armengol as a good candidate.
On the eve of the formation of the congress table this Thursday, the elected delegate Enrique Santiago (Add) has defended the presence of nationalist forces in it. In his view, the Round Table should express “that plurality which will make a democratic and progressive coalition government viable”, and “into that plurality the nationalist forces enter”.
In an interview for Radio Euskadi’s “Boulevard” program, the United Left spokesman in Congress stated that the presidency of the Table should align with the PSOE as the party with the most representation “of all progressive and democratic forces” . .
