Corona’s comeback does not stop at politics. Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler (Greens) tested positive and will not attend in-person appointments this week.
His office said he is experiencing “typical symptoms.”
Both a self-test and a laboratory test were positive and close contacts were informed.

This year, in May, Kogler was confronted with a question from a “Krone” reader about Corona in the krone.tv format “Vice Chancellor Hour”. He asked for an apology for unvaccinated people. “An apology would require some form of admission of guilt,” Kogler said at the time. He would not recognize that among his government colleagues.
