“New European” – Claudia Gamon has become a mother for the first time

Date:

EU parliament member and NEOS state spokesperson (Vorarlberg) Claudia Gamon has become a mother for the first time. “A new European says hello,” she wrote on Instagram on Thursday. Gamon’s daughter was born in Dornbirn Hospital.

The 34-year-old thanked staff at the maternity ward for their ‘amazing care’. “You’re a little nervous about what it’s like. But the incredibly competent, empathetic, patient and strong women I encountered there made it a thoroughly positive experience for me,” Claudia Gamon wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

“Enjoy time for three”
The family is said to be doing well and “we are enjoying time together.” The child’s father is hotelier Peter Fetz from Schwarzenberg, to whom the politician has been married since 2022. Gamon is now withdrawing from politics for a while, but her teams in Brussels and Vorarlberg will continue to work diligently and provide the population with everything.

The post received 1,575 likes (as of September 14, 1:57 p.m.). Among the prominent benefactors were former NEOS politician Matthias Strolz, NEOS MP Yannick Shetty, former Austrian ski racer Michaela Kirchgasser and State Secretary for Youth Claudia Plakolm (ÖVP).

Gamon has been a member of the EU parliament since 2014 and in February 2023 she was also elected NEOS state spokesperson for Vorarlberg.
