The president of the EBB, Andoni Ortuzar, has asked by letter to the members and sympathizers of the PNV to attend en masse the Alderdi Eguna on September 24, because these are “very important and very complicated political times” for the party and for Euskadi.
Ortuzar has referred to the results of the municipal and general elections, elections in which the PNV suffered a setback, to the investiture negotiations in Spain and to the end of the Basque legislature, with regional elections ‘in the spring’.
“Many relevant things will be at stake for the future of Euskadi and the well-being of Basque society. For the outcome to be good, a strong and well-placed PNV is needed on the Basque, state and European political scene. you and the party too,” he told the members.
