The presidents of the Family Business Institute and the CEOE called the Lehendakari on Thursday to express their displeasure and disagreement with what happened.
The President of the Family Business Institute, Andrés Sendagorta, and the President of the CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, have apologized to the Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu for the incident that occurred last Monday when he began his speech in Basque during the annual congress of the Institute of Family Business, the family business.
Both company executives called the Lehendakari on Thursday to express their displeasure and disagree with what happened.
Iñigo Urkullu began his speech in Basque and after speaking for a minute, several in the audience began coughing and clearing their throats. The Lehendakari waited ten seconds before continuing his speech.
