–On the way to Sánchez’s investiture: After the PSOE and the Junts concluded their agreement on Thursday, the date for Pedro Sánchez’s investiture debate as president of the Spanish government could be announced in the coming hours. According to socialist sources, November 15 and 16 are the most likely dates. The official communication of the date corresponds to the Speaker of the Chamber, Francina Armengol, after a conversation with the acting head of the executive branch.
–Memorial Day: Like every November 10, the Basque parliament commemorates Remembrance Day this Friday. The event starts at 10 a.m. and will be attended by the President of the Basque Parliament, the Lehendakari, members of the House of Representatives, and spokespersons and representatives of parliamentary groups.
–Zinebi: The 65th edition of Zinebi, the international documentary and short film festival organized by the Bilbao City Council, which will take place until November 17. Seven Basque short films are participating in the official section of Zinebi this year. The festival pays tribute to the first two recipients of the Honorary Mikeldi of this edition: the filmmaker Frederick Wiseman, winner of the honorary Oscar for lifetime achievement in 2016, and the Bilbao film critic and journalist Félix Linares.
