The EH Bildu coordinator took part in the Sinn Fein political conference in Ireland this weekend, from where he urged participation in the demonstration in Bilbao under the slogan “Nazioa Gara”.
The general coordinator of EH Bildu, Arnaldo Otegihas called for participation in the national mobilization called for November 18 in the streets of Bilbao under the motto ‘Nazioa Gara‘To demonstrate that ‘We are an anti-fascist nation, in solidarity and with memory“.
Arnaldo Otegi and the Director of International Relations and spokesperson in the Senate, Gorka Elejabarrietaparticipated this weekend in the Sinn Fein Political Conference In Ireland.
Otegi has committed to “continue to strengthen the ties and historic relations between the Irish republicans and the Basque independentists to walk together on the path to the freedom of our peoples.”
Otegi and Elejabarrieta, among others, have had a meeting Gerry Adamsthe president of Sinn Fein, Mary Lou McDonald and the Vice President of Sinn Féin, Michelle O’Neill, to “share the future challenges of Ireland and the Basque Country.” Some meetings, highlighted by EH Bildu, were “enriching in which they shared joint strategies and political reflections at a time when Sinn Féin can govern both the north and south of the island.”
In the same way, they participated together with the President of the ERC, Oriol Junqueras, in Sinn Féin’s Ard Fheis. Otegi and Junqueras have called to participate in the national mobilization that the sovereign left has called for on November 18.
Otegi has said that “those who want to take us back, curtail our rights and those who want us in black and white are going to hold a demonstration in Madrid,” but “we anti-fascists will fill the streets of Bilbao to say that there is a future and that “we want a life full of color and happiness for people.”
