Notably, the graffiti has appeared in the Ukraine-Euskadi Association warehouse and the facades of the socialist headquarters in Derio, Valle de Trápaga and the Barakaldés neighborhood of Cruces.
The Director of Migration and Asylum of the Basque Government, Xavier Legarretahas denounced the appearance of pro-Russian graffiti in a warehouse in Lezama (Bizkaia) of the Ukraine-Euskadi Association.
Legarreta has circulated through social networks a photo of the outside of the warehouse, on which it can be seen painted in red the letter “Z”with images of supporters of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in various places, including on a Russian flag.
In another of the painted of the same color, you can see hammer and sickle communists
“This is how the Lezama warehouse of the Ukraine-Euskadi association is waking up today,” Legarreta denounced in his post, adding: “The self-proclaimed ‘antifaxis branch’ are once again showing their true fascist face.”
¿¿ We condemn the graffiti against our Casas del Pueblo. We remind the authors of these bellicose Zs that we socialists will continue to condemn the lack of respect for human rights as an immoral invasion. We will not leave the Ukrainian people alone. @socialistavasco pic.twitter.com/JF4itbUJHt

In addition, at least three Casas del Pueblo painted appeared in Bizkaia last weekend, as reported by the PSE-EE via social networks.
The facades of the socialist headquarters of Derio, Valle de Trápaga and the Barakaldés neighborhood of Cruces featured the hammer and sickle symbol and the Z, which identifies Russian military vehicles.
It is not the first time that this type of graffiti appears in the Basque Country. On the 10th, unknown persons made pro-Russian graffiti two hostels that welcomed the Ukrainians in Bilbao.
