It was all a lie. In October 2021, singer Gil Ofarim made accusations of anti-Semitism against the Leipzig hotel in a video. The video went viral on social media. According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Leipzig, the incident did not happen that way. After extensive investigation, charges were filed against Ofarim. The case against the hotel employee was dismissed. Ofarim said in court on Tuesday that he had now deleted the video. The hotel manager accepted the apology.
