The new advisor will replace Juan Cruz Cigudosa, who will soon be appointed Secretary of State for Innovation in the Spanish government.
Patricia Fanlo Mateo From next Monday, she will take up the position of Minister of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of Navarre replacing Juan Cruz Cigudosanext State Secretary for this same area.
As stated by the Regional Executive, the President of Navarre, María Chivite, upon her appointment, “academic and research wealth” de Fanlo, a graduate in medicine and doctor of health sciences, who has published more than 100 articles in national and international scientific journals and has been a member of several national and European scientific associations.
In her political role, Fanlo was a regional parliamentarian in the last parliamentary term (2019-2023) and before that she was a councilor of the Pamplona City Council (2015-2019).
