The plenary session of Congress annulled the decree law that included the reform of unemployment benefits; while the Spanish government was able to save the decision on the justice and public service measures (omnibus) and that of the anti-crisis measures.
Behind the validation of two of the three decrees approved by the Spanish government by the Congress of Deputies, these are the measures that will decrease, remain in force or be activated:
They remain in force or are activated:
-Free Cercanías and medium-distance trains
-30% reduction in urban and intercity transport
-VAT reduction on electricity and gas to 10% (in the latter case only the first quarter)
-Zero VAT for basic foodstuffs
-Increase in premium pensions by 3.8%
-Abolition of commissions for cash withdrawals at the counter for people over 65 years old
-Extension of the eviction ban for vulnerable households
-Extension for one year of the tax on large fortunes and taxes on banking and energy
Decline:
-Reform of unemployment benefits: Expand it to hitherto exempt groups, such as those under 45 without family responsibilities, and increase it from 480 euros to 570 euros in the first six months and to 540 euros for the next six months, compatible with work for the first 180 to dawn .
-Allow all employees to enjoy cumulative breastfeeding leave
-Prevalence of regional agreements over state agreements.
