Eva López de Arroyabe and Rocío Vitero, ratified as heads of the EH Bildu list in Álava

The candidacy for both the regional and municipal elections of 2023 has been endorsed with over 90% support.

Eva Lopez de Arroyabe and Rocio Vitero have been ratified as head of the EH Bildu list for the elections to the General Assemblies of Álava and the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council in 2023.

When the vote was over, and without any argument, Eva López de Arroyabe was ratified with 98.8% of the vote, and Rocío Vitero with 91%, as reported by EH Bildu in a statement.

The vote, which took place on May 26, 27 and 28, took more than half of the coalition’s census in the area.

Eva Lopez de Arroyabe (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1973) It is titled in Secretary of Direction. Between 2007 and 2011, he was a member of the management of the agricultural unions UAGA and EHNE, and headed the EHNE Equality Zone. Together with two other companions, she was one of the first women to participate in the direction of UAGA.

In addition, she was vice president of Gure Soroa, the Association of Arab Women Farmers, from 2014 to 2016. From 2013 to 2017, he was chairman of the board of Larrea. Likewise, she has been a member of Álava’s General Assemblies since 2015, and was a Basque parliamentarian between 2016 and 2020.

Rocio Vitero (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1980), graduated in Social Work and has a master’s degree in Exclusion, Integration and Citizenship. She is an expert in social policy monitoring and has worked as an assistant in retirement homes.

Likewise, he was responsible for the municipal center of Aterpe and coordinated and led the association Sidalava. He has also participated in social movements and volunteer work.

Since 2019 she has been a councilor at EH Bildu, a formation in which, in addition to her social policy responsibility, she has led the areas of Finance, Economic Promotion and Trade.
