Podemos parliamentarian in Navarre, Ainhoa Aznárez, believes the increase in Vox is the most troubling of the results expected by the EITB FOCUS survey for Navarre.

This investigation foresees a decline for Podemos Navarra, who would continue without representation in Pamplona’s city council and lose one of its two current MPs.

Speaking to journalists in Navarra’s parliament, Aznárez explained that many polls have emerged in recent days expecting “unequal results” for the purple coalition. Without going into the assessment of the results of his competition, he found it positive that “neither right nor far right will form majorities”

However, he thought “Very worrying” that Vox could break into institutions Navarre. According to the EITB FOCUS survey, Vox would enter Navarre’s parliament for the first time with two representatives and one in the capital.

For this reason, Aznárez explained that Podemos Ahal Dugu Navarra is marked as two challenges for the next parliamentary term: “On the one hand to guarantee public services, and on the other hand to remain a democratic safeguard against the right and the extreme right”.

He has insisted on the need to further extend the political, social and cultural rights of Navarrese men and women, “as we have done in recent years” and pointed out that “the left needs to be consolidated”.

He points out that the platform of left-wing forces, agents and independents being worked on will be discussed and warns that the investigation does not take this point into account.
