Chancellor Karl Nehammer never wants to go back there, the Hallein NEOS met there: the pink top candidate for the mayoral elections Christian Münnich recently invited people to the Hallein wine shop Pinna Nobilis.
Last summer, several ÖVP celebrities around Nehammer met in the old town restaurant. The Chancellor gave a speech in which he recommended that poor children simply eat a hamburger at McDonald’s – because it was the “cheapest hot meal”. A video of the feisty Sager was made public, the ‘Burgergate’ scandal was perfect.
The NEOS recreated the infamous video with the help of political returnee Sepp Schellhorn. Münnich: “We prefer to talk to the citizens rather than about them. Politics has become alienated from the people.”
