On the other hand, all candidates have improved their knowledge level by an average of 10 points since the last EITB Focus in early February.
Pello Otxandiano (EH Bildu) and Imanol Pradales (PNV) are the two lehendakari candidates most highly rated by Basque citizens ahead of the regional elections on April 21, and also the only ones who clearly endorse it, according to EITB Focus.
Specifically, the nationalist coalition candidate receives an average score of 6 points, just a tenth above the second most highly rated Pradales, with 5.9.
Bordering approval, with a rating of 4.9, is Miren Gorrotxategi, candidate of the Elkarrekin Podemos – Green Alliance coalition.
They are followed by Eneko Andueza (PSE-EE), with a 4.4; and Alba García (Sumar), with a 4.2; and further away Javier de Andrés (PP), with 2.4; and Amaia Martínez (Vox), with 0.8.
Increase the level of knowledge
On the other hand, all candidates have improved their knowledge level by an average of 10 points compared to the previous EITB Focus, published on February 2.
The best known is therefore Pradales, with 68.7% (compared to 58% in February), followed by Otxandiano, with 65.3% (54.7% in February); Andueza, with 62.4% (53.9% a month and a half ago); Gorrotxategi (61.2% compared to 53.2%), De Andrés (54.2% compared to 44.7%), Martínez (42.6% compared to 30.9%) and García (37.1% compared by 24.8%).

1,800 people living in the BAC were interviewed to prepare the EITB Focus survey (600 in each historical area).
The fieldwork was conducted from March 8 to 14 through telephone interviews.
