The capital of Tyrol is teeming with election posters. The ‘Krone’ asked an expert to analyze how useful different series actually are, what marmots have lost on the posters and what is especially striking in this election campaign.
The residents of Innsbruck are called upon to vote for the city council and mayor on April 14. The first election posters – from the Green Georg Willi and the Blue Markus Lassenberger – were on display at some bus stop at the end of November (!). Since then, the topics have changed regularly and some parties have repeatedly presented new series.
But how useful is that really? The “Tiroler Krone” asked Peter Schneckenleitner, professor of communication management at the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences, and Lore Hayek, university assistant at the Institute for Political Science of the University of Innsbruck, for their expertise.
