Now that the prosecutor’s office for business and corruption is investigating BM Georg Willi (Greens), the noose is tightening. Almost all political groups have now proposed that he resign, but the mayor himself takes it easy. At least for now!
Depaoli calls for contract review
On Wednesday, “Righteous” Councilman Gerald Depaoli added another shovel. He calls on the city council to review the contract of the former vice president of the state parliament, Stephanie Jicha (Greens), who is now docked in the mayor’s office. “We have to make sure he doesn’t give Jicha a special contract as well, just like he did with the former HR manager,” Depaoli argues.
He therefore demands that the contract be checked for special privileges and credited previous periods of service. “We owe that to the 1,700 other municipal employees,” adds Depaoli.
