All participants commented several times in their interventions on Basque healthcare. On the other hand, self-government was one of the issues that most fueled the debate.
Of the data left behind by the EITB debate on the occasion of the elections to the Basque Parliament, one undoubtedly stands out: Osakidetza was the topic most frequently referred to by the candidates. And as in the campaign and pre-campaign, after the public health system, self-government and post-electoral pacts were the most recurring issues.
So the ranking of entries is guided by Osakidetza. All participants commented on the Basque Health Service in their interventions. Some data for example: in the 30 second period corresponding to the beginning of the public services block, Pello Otxandiano from EH Bildu mentioned this topic six times, while Andeka Larrea from Sumar did so more than fifteen times during the entire period. whole debate. Likewise, in the speeches of the rest the word Osakidetza appeared at least half a dozen times.
The following topics that attracted the most attention were: self-government and the possible post-electoral pacts. At the same time, these were also the issues that most fueled the debate, although overall there were no moments of particular tension.
In this context, it is worth noting that the socialist candidate Eneko Andueza was the one who did that he often interrupted the interventions the rest. Except for Imanol Pradales, from the PNV, he interrupted everyone’s speeches several times. As for the interpellations, the one who asked the most questions was the popular Laura Garrido, almost all of them addressed to the representative of Jeltzale, asking him to explain the post-electoral pacts.
The security It was not a top topic at the event and received only five mentions, four of which came from the PP and PSE-EE, and one from the PNV. The rest made no mention of it.
Another fact that caught our attention: there were hardly any calls to the stake and citizen mobilization on 21A. Only in the last golden minute did they ask for the vote.
Finally regarding the image, everyone chose the same colors for their staging; The four men wore white shirts and the women also opted for jackets in the same color.
