Navarra’s parliament unanimously insists on approving foreign diplomas within six months

Date:

Likewise, he has defended the Foral Community taking over the powers in this matter, as the Basque Autonomous Community has recently done.

The parliament of Navarre has unanimously approved a motion calling on the government of Spain to do so the approval of academic degrees awarded abroad within a maximum period of six months.

He defended it in the same way the Foral Community takes over the relevant powersas the Basque Autonomous Community has recently done.

The UPN parliamentarian and supporter, Iñaki Iriartehas defended that “the motion must receive the support of the entire House, so that the time for the homologation of the titles once and for all does not exceed six months.”

“As is clear, this recognition plays a very relevant role in their job placement and the improvement of their salary conditions,” he assured, since “having an approved diploma implies a better job and a better salary.”

Kevin Lucero (PSN) has claimed that “since Pedro Sánchez came into power, the staff managing approvals has increased by 60%.”

Maria Solana (Geroa Bai), who has shown good harmony with Iriarte, has pointed out that “we understand that the proposal is nothing more than demanding compliance with what the standard establishes.”

Likewise, he has defended Navarre’s assumption of jurisdiction in the homologation of foreign diplomas.

For his part, Arantxa Izurdiaga (EH Bildu) has pointed out the “indisputable negative impact of the delay in approvals on the lives of these people,” which “also affects the labor market and public services, because there are qualified professionals who cannot practice.”

Irene Royo (PP) has also chosen to “facilitate, within a reasonable and adequate time, the homologation and validation of the titles due to their importance for Spain, and therefore for Navarre.”

By Contigo-Zurekin, Daniel Lopez He asked attendees to “put themselves in the shoes of people coming from abroad” and reminded that “studying a degree is not as accessible as it is here around the world.”

Finally, Maite Nosti (Vox) has asked for “more resources, both human and material,” so that the approval “is carried out within a reasonable time and with all legal guarantees.”
