The water is sinking into turmoil in San Sebastián due to disagreements between the Gazte Asanblada of the Parte Vieja and the Gazte Koordinadora Sozialista (GKS). Last week it was announced that they had a confrontation about the material of the gaztetxe Kijera and last weekend they even had a brawl. La Gazte Asanblada has denounced that twenty people from the GKS environment attacked two people. The latter, for their part, say that they followed one of them home and beat him up.

The parliamentarian of EH Bildu, Iker Casanova, has described what has happened between these two groups of young people as serious, as, as he has said, “an aggressive reaction has been sparked by some, referring to Gazte Koordinadora Sozialista. In an interview attributed to the ETB1 program “Egun on Euskadi”, has placed GKS outside the sovereign left. In any case, he wanted to make it clear that the young people of the sovereign left are not divided: “There are young people organized outside the sovereign left. It is not an internal dispute.”

Likewise, he has indicated that it is not a priority for the coalition to engage in debate with these groups.

In any case, and in line with the appeal of the Gazte Asanblada and other agents in the area, he has called for any disagreements to be resolved through dialogue and peaceful means.
