In Austria, 2240 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from Tuesday 9.30 am). Another person infected with the virus has died. The number of hospital patients has increased slightly. In the normal wards of the hospitals, the occupancy rate increased by 19 places (437 in total), the number of patients in intensive care by three (42 patients in total).
So far there are 4,271,517 positive test results in Austria. As of today (June 7, 9.30am), 18,675 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died and 4,216,213 people have recovered across Austria. 479 people are currently hospitalized with the corona virus. Of these, 42 are treated in intensive care.
