Last week, Navarre’s parliament rejected Geroa Bai’s proposal to create a new code of ethics and conduct. Instead, it unanimously agreed to study and adapt the Code of Conduct, contained in Article 26.2 of the Navarre Regulations, in a presentation.
The Rules Committee of the Parliament of Navarra unanimously approved this Wednesday the creation of a presentation aimed at “studying and adapting the Code of Conduct contained in Article 26.2 of the Rules of Navarre.”
The presentation proposed by UPN, PSN, EH Bildu, Geroa Bai and Contigo Navarra and also supported by PP and Vox, believes that the presentation format provides the appropriate framework to “calmly address the development” of the aforementioned article by the statute that regulates life. internally in the House.
The commissioned research must be completed and reflected in a report in the extendable period of six months since the constitution of the working group, a circumstance scheduled for the next session, starting in September.
In this sense, groups and groups of parliamentarians have until June 13 to appoint a representative and a deputy by acronym.
Thus, the Parliament of Navarre has definitively set aside the proposal of the President of the Provincial Chamber, Unai Hualde, to create a new code of ethics and conduct. The initiative was only supported by Geroa Bai, so instead all parliamentary groups prepared a parliamentary report to study the issue in a calm manner.
