Yesterday, the Lehendakari signed the decree defining the functions and areas of action of the departments of the Basque Government and the Lehendakaritza.
The decree that defines the functions and areas of action of the departments of the Basque governmentas well as Lehendakaritza, was published this morning in the Official Gazette of the Basque Country. This is the first decree signed by the new lehendakari, Imanol Pradales.
The decree allocates, among other things, the equality policy to the Lehendakaritza, including Emakunde, and the policy for attracting and retaining talent.
It will also be responsible for the representation and projection of Euskadi abroad and for public policy in European affairs, cross-border and interregional cooperation, and relations and assistance to Basque communities and centers.
The act of inauguration of the new directors It will be held this Tuesday in Ajuria Enea. And after him the first meeting of the new director will take place.
